In case your car receives major scratches, the insurance policy would cover the expenses. This can be a great thing especially if the scratches were not your fault. Once you do the rounds of a few insurance companies, you should become quite adept at insurance-speak. Just make sure that you do a lot of shopping around. Desist from choosing the first policy that is offered to you. Surf the Internet and find some insurance sites. Look at the car insurance policy comparisons that many of these sites offer. Familiarize yourself with all the jargon that your insurance agent is going to bombard you with. All this will be good preparation. So when you do go to buy that policy, finding the best deal will be an easy job.
